Going to LA soon and wanted to know how reliable and frequent the public transport system is. e.g. Bus, Train, Tram ect.

I am staying in a place near Lubeck called Scharbeutz. I need to get from there to Berlin. I’d like to get the train – is there a direct route or do I need to change? If I need to change, where would I change? Any idea how long it takes? How much should I expect to pay?

My internet access at home is playing up, so I know this is cheeky but please if you can give me an actual answer rather than a link (or as well as) that would be brilliant. I’m flying out from London to Germany very early tomorrow morning and won’t have internet access while I’m in Germany so swift help would be very much appreciated.

I would be travelling on Sunday evening or Monday morning (I can do either just as easily).
