World 7, Air Taxi, is now known. I’m not entirely finished with it though so it’s not going in the done bin just yet. This video was also recorded at 60 fps, a first (strangely, I can record the very intensive Ronnisa Plains just fine like this, but I can’t play back something as simple as this at true speed). World 7 is the first of the vehicular-themed worlds in the game. World 11, Train, is the second known vehicular-themed world. Originally, it was to be cruise ship, but I almost never see these things (a few brief bits on TV is all I really have to go on) so I rejected the idea. With air taxis being the primary form of transportation available during the time Platform Masters takes place, it makes more sense to have this. You’ve seen air taxis in the previous development video of Platform Masters for Jeremy’s House (world 1), here, there is a close-up visible. Air taxis are essentially a cross between an airplane and a city bus. Past Keveran Forest is a lot of ocean. Scattered around are several islands. Air Taxi takes place over the Sentus Archipelago, found in the southernmost parts of the game’s overworld. Common with vehicular-themed worlds are platform levels drifting by in the distance. What you see isn’t exactly how the end result will be in the end. Rather, it’s only for demonstration purposes at the moment. The distances will be different, for one, and the actual placement will also be slightly different. An entire set of 16 levels will be drifting by. I …
